OUR ANNUAL GOLF OUTING-ANOTHER SUCCESS!
With the guidance of John Rohr, John Louthan,
picked up the slack and ran a successful golf outing.
69 golfers came to Forest Park to participate in this year's outing, which benefits the Steuben Scholarship Program.
With the days of summer waning we got to play on a warm day.
The course was in great shape as was the greens,
but, "a little slow" so says Jerry Ferrin of Engine 266.
I bet that's what Walter Fuhrmann said as he scored the highest score of "124" and became the outing's Most Honest Golfer.
Lt. John DeResto of Engine 266 didn't agree
as he scored the lowest with his "Lucky 77".
Congratulations also goes out to:
Tom Wood-Closest to the Pin and
Bob Canale-Longest Drive
After it was all done and said the "Oak Ridge Boys"
enjoyed a hearty German Meal as catered by
Frank's Deli. Our servers Pat & Diane were most gracious.
Our dinner was topped off with coffee and streudel.
