OKTOBERFEST 2009
There's only one word to describe this year's Party:
"WUNDERBAHR"
A good time was had by all.
There was only one way to end our season of great events,
with a bang!
The Steuben Association prides itself on all, and I mean all, having a good time. It started with Family Day, next up was the Boat Ride,
then the Golf Outing, next up was the Parade, and finally "OKTOBERFEST".
We had the crowd, we had the scrumptious German food,
we had the place- Plattduetsche Park Restaurant, and finally we
had a great band-GENERATION GAP!
This formula provided for a great result: A Fabulous Party.
If you did not make it this year you should consider coming next year.
Carl and Margaret Haussler put a lot of time and effort into making this
the good time it was. Thanks to them and thanks to all who made
all the events a success. Check below for more pictures.
Now its time for all to take a break and gear up for next year.
Can we top this year? You can bank on it!
And here is the number one picture from the party:
Brian Werner, son of Retired Captain Walter Werner, and on the job himself, assists his fiance, Lindsey Scott in "the flip" while dancing to "In The Mood". The dance floor was crowded all night as all in attendance got to swing to the sounds of "Generation Gap".
They even put on a show when the leads came out and performed,
"That's All I Ask of You" from Phantom of The Opera.

Maybe that should be our slogan for next year to get more people to join. Just come and attend the many events and have a good time, "That's all We ask of You"!
